Arches National Park, Moab,UT

The last few hours of daylight were spent at Arches National Park. Papa VK wanted us to go right before dusk so we could all see the cool shadows around the park. First stop was Balancing Rock and it did not disappoint that for sure. The moon was out a little early for the photos which made it really cool.

Isn't it amazing how that rock doesn't get blown over by the wind after all these years!

After a few minutes walking around and up to this beautiful rock formation we got back in the car to see more of the spectacular park.

The views are absolutely amazing throughout this area so make sure you take your time while driving around and pull over often to just let the scenery sink in a bit.

Double Arch was awesome. Kristin, Papa and both boys walked the path all the way to the base and climbed into the arches. Mimi and I sat on a rock about halfway and took pictures of them from afar.

On the drive further into the park we had a small herd of mule deer cross the road in front of us and Mimi was so happy. If she was aloud to feed them we all know she would.

Delicate Arch was the next stop on the drive in. This ended up being a much farther hike than we had time for so we just walked to the actual signage and took a few pictures from there.

Just a bit of a drive deeper into the park and we pulled over to have sandwiches for dinner before a hike to some really cool mountains that you can walk inside. If you make it to Arches then I would highly suggest putting Sand Dunes Arch on the itinerary as the view from inside the rocks is unbelievable and has to be seen.

The last picture was Taken with our Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra in night mode. It us crazy how much ambient light this phone can find in pitch black.
